FREE ART MATERIALS!!!!

Emergent Designs
Art Materials Recycling Centre
Free High Quality Art Materials Available

Emergent Designs is one of the largest users of art materials in Sydney, handling a vast array of boards, films and other materials in our mounting, laminating and framing departments. This is an initiative to recycle our off cuts from production for the use of students, schools and other education facilities. In this way, we can help the environment and benefit the arts/education community by supplying free high quality materials for the art room.

Materials Available
Boards: Foamboards, Gataboards, plastics, aluminum, wood and cards.
Acrylics (Perspex): Various thicknesses.
Framing materials: Matt boards, molding off cuts
Films: Laminating films (contact), sticky films on a roll.
Tubes and sleeves: All sizes with end caps.

Who is eligible?
Students: A student ID must be provided.
Schools: Please provide a letter of request on official letterhead.
Tertiary Institutes: Please provide a letter of request on official letterhead.

When and where?
Our recycling centre is open from 10am – 12pm every Tuesday. Please do not ask to use the centre outside these hours as we have busy commercial activities at other times. Our address is Unit 11, 809-821 Botany Road, Rosebery. Enter via Dunning Avenue.

What do you do?
Please bring you ID and register when you arrive in the registration book provided. The centre is self serve, so you are free to select you own pieces after registration.
